There are generally 2 types of cinnamon: Ceylon cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum) or true Cinnamon and Cassia cinnamon (Cinnamomum cassia). As per experts, these two cinnamon are very much different from each other.
Ceylon cinnamon V/S Cassia cinnamon


i. Ceylon Cinnamon mainly produced in Sri-Lanka and some north-east parts of India, where Cassia cinnamon produced in China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and some parts of Africa.
ii. Ceylon cinnamon is costly than Cassia cinnamon and very difficult to find in the market, but cassia cinnamon is cheap and easy to get in markets.
iii. Ceylon cinnamon is much healthier than Cassia cinnamon. Some experts believed Cassia cinnamon is unhealthy and has a reverse effect on the human body if you are using it for a long time. Cassia cinnamon contains coumarins which are toxic and unhealthy for the liver.
iv. Ceylon cinnamon has so many spirals that are bound within one stick, that are very easy to break, where Cassia Cinnamon is very simple in structure but hard to break.

Ingredients – 2 cup of water,
1/2 spoon of cinnamon powder
Half lime
1 spoon of honey
Bowl water with cinnamon till it became half. Strain it add lime and honey (remember: add honey when the tea is in light warm condition). Take this tea two times in a day instead of milk tea or milk coffee.
